Sukhikh can be attributed to the genre of landscape–experience. The interweaving of the elements: water, earth, air and fire is in the center of attention of the painter. The combination of warm and cool colors is harmoniously balanced; in ultramarine fused shades of ochre, pink, yellow. With an emancipated, energetic, impetuous stroke, Sukhikh "sculpts" his works. Skill and professionalism are manifested in the artist's ability to convey the materiality, weight of objects and airiness, depth of space.
