Anna Meteleva

Graphic artist, painter. She was born in 1963 in Leningrad. In 1982 she graduated from the Ekaterinburg Art College named after Shadra. In 1991 - Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in St. Petersburg. In 1993 she joined the Union of Artists of Russia.

The daughter of the famous Ural artist German Metelev and the theater artist Zoya Malinina followed in her parents' footsteps, but in a slightly different direction. Anna Meteleva works in a variety of techniques. This is a lithograph, and watercolor, and traditional - canvas, oil. Landscapes, still lifes, miniatures, thematic series - Anna's paintings are as beautiful as they are understandable. Among them there are small, chamber works, united by light stylization under European classicism and monumental series "Aeronautics" and "Seventh Day" on the subjects of the Old Testament, portraits and series of flowers and antique subjects. Currently, Anna lives and works in Yekaterinburg. The artist's paintings are in museums and private collections in Russia, Europe and the USA.
