Vladimir Romanov

Vladimir Romanov was born in Yekaterinburg in 1955 and graduated from the Evening Art School named after P.P. Khozhatelev in 1983 (teachers - Y. Kiselev, V. Starov, L. Khabarov). From 1992 to 2012 he worked as an artist at the Museum of the History of Yekaterinburg. Since 1990 he has been participating in city, regional and international exhibitions. He works in the genre of still life and cityscape. He is called the "Ural Impressionist" - he always paints bright, airy paintings that capture moments. In 2004 he was awarded the first prize of the Regional Exhibition-Competition "Temple" ("Odoevsky Gallery" Yekaterinburg).

Since the same year, he has been a member of the "Brigade of Painters named after Kazimir Malevich". In 2014, Vladimir Romanov received a Diploma from the Plenipotentiary Envoy of the Russian Federation to the Ural Federal District "For his personal contribution to the preservation of the traditions of Russian art" and participation in the exhibition "Art of the Modern Urals". He is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia. The paintings are in private collections in Russia and abroad - in Germany, the USA, Norway, South Korea, etc.
