Alexey Ryzhkov

In 1961 he was born in Nizhny Tagil. In 1983 he graduated from the Sverdlovsk Art School.

Since 1987 - participant of city, regional and international exhibitions. In 1994 he graduated from A.M. Gorky Ural State University, Faculty of History of Arts .

Since 1995 he began work on a graphic series of Ekaterinburg landscapes. Later there were added the works dedicated to Vilnius, Krakow, Seattle, Paris.

In 2004, Ryzhkov's album "Journey from Sverdlovsk to Ekaterinburg" was published. In 2006 - the publication of the book by A.M. Ryzhkov "Around the Literary Quarter".

In 2008, in co-authorship with Irina Ryzhkova, he published a book about Ekaterinburg for children "Amazing Walk". In 2009, the book "7 Ural Cities" was published. In these books, Alexey Ryzhkov acts not only as an artist, but also as a designer and author of texts.

In 2011 he created the Internet community "Painted City". In 2013, the beginning of the creation of a series of animated videos based on the Ekaterinburg graphic cycle.

The works of A.M. Ryzhkov are in the Ekaterinburg Museum of Fine Arts, private collections of Russia and foreign countries.
